dccheerleaders - Why did Claire decide to audition for the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders? "I'm from Dallas, so I grew up a Cowboys fan and had dance teachers that were members of the DCC. It wasn't until later in life that I realized could become one of the women that I had looked up to." #GemOfTheWeek

dccheerleaders - Amy L's advice for someone who dreams of becoming a DCC? "I would first and foremost tell them to never give up. Becoming a DCC is a long rigorous journey, but it is worth every drop of sweat, every tear shed, and every minute of rehearsal. You have to be strong in who you are, and never forget to show your true self, not who you think they want you to be. Take as many dance classes as you can before the audition and come prepared, focused, and ready for the journey of a lifetime." -Amy L #GemOfTheWeek

dccheerleaders - Something that might surprise people about Chantel? She actually grew up as a tomboy and didn't start dancing until middle school. When she was younger, she only wanted to do activities my brothers participated in, which included hunting, fishing, camping, basketball and karate! #GemOfTheWeek
